$1 Million PokerStars Turbo Takedown

You have even more chances to win in July, as this month the tournament becomes Turbo Takedown: Team PokerStars Pro Edition. As a one-off special, Team PokerStars Pro will play in the Turbo Takedown on July 26, and have cash bounties* on their heads.
Exactly how much goes into the prize pool depends on you. The earlier you register for the tournament, the bigger the bounties will be - $20 for each day. So, if you register on the day of the tournament, the cash prize for busting a Team PokerStars Pro will be $20. But if you register one day before** it’s $40, two days before it’s $60, and so on. If you register on the day the tournament appears in the PokerStars lobby, you could win more than $400 for eliminating a Team PokerStars Pro.
The $1 Million PokerStars Turbo Takedown runs at 14:30 ET on the last Sunday of every month. This no-limit Hold’em event has a $1 Million guarantee for your 2,000 FPP entry fee, with a first place prize of $40,000. At least one out of every three players will walk away with money, so you stand a great chance of turning your FPP credits into real cash. See the payout table below for more details.

How to play in the $1 Million PokerStars Turbo Takedown
- Download the free PokerStars poker software or, if you already have the PokerStars software, just double-click your desktop icon
- Either:
- Register directly with 2,000 Frequent Player Points for the $1 Million Turbo Takedown main event. Simply click ‘Tourney’ and ‘Special’ in the PokerStars game lobby.
- Or view the list of satellite tournaments for the $1 Million Turbo Takedown main event and register to play in one of these to win your 2,000 FPP buy-in. You can play in a satellite for as little as 10 FPP credits. Simply go to the PokerStars lobby and click ‘Tourney’, then ‘Satellite’ and ‘FPP’.

* Bounties will be paid to the players that eliminate Team PokerStars Pros from the tournament. In the event that the Pro is eliminated in a split pot, the bounty will be shared by the players that split the pot. In the event that there is a side pot when a Pro is eliminated, it is the winner of the main pot that will receive the bounty. All bounties will be paid within 24 hours of the completion of the tournament. Please note that players may not collude over eliminating Pros for bounties.

Early registrations will be calculated using the ET time zone in the PokerStars client. Players’ last registration times will be used to calculate bounties. If a player registers on July 5, unregisters on July 7, then re-registers on July 15, they will be considered as registering on July 15.
